The Blackhawks have grown tired of their offer for Mr. Kovalchuk being the benchmark for other GMs to beat. We are publicly withdrawing our offer, knowing that it may have been the winner in the end.

Happy to be rid of Martin, and hopefully Shirokov enjoys being 3rd line in the AHL.

I'm thinking of playing Michael Dal Colle on the 2nd line next season. Hopefully he can learn well from veteran Jason Spezza while playing behind him.

I have lots of cap space. I made a lot of trades.

I doubt I would use him outside of the pre-season. I still have Tim Connolly

I traded Regher for a pick, Dubinsky, Roy out for picks + Okposo, Rod Pelly for a pick, and Filatov in a package for 2 potential NHL players.

I only gained Okposo and Daley to the NHL.

Sad to see Stewart go, but his production wasn't enough to justify him being an untouchable

Campbell is the games premier puck mover.

Duncan Keith is in that conversation if you are talking in terms of STHS ratings.

Maybe not stats wise though.

Some teams really need to fix their asking prices... A top prospect for a late first rounder? <_<

Keith produces less than half the points that Campbell does.

Nice try though.

I have a feeling that a Pietrangelo - Campbell pairing is going to cause some headaches.

Keith is the same player as Campbell, but 4 years younger and 11 better DF and $1.6M cheaper.

Both are good players. I'm just saying that he's in the conversation.
