Crom!
http://cdcsimleague....php?player=1378 Phaneuf isn't exactly Superman. Only 75 DF, 68 PH and 78 SK. Plus you have to factor in his horrible $6.5M cap hit, and the fact that he only has 1 year left on his contract. I am looking forward to these though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=4j662TD3JwA&NR=
Sidney Crosby.
Sven if you think SJ got the short end of the stick, this trade is wayyy better then the deal Sutter made with the Flames a few years ago TO TOR: Dion Phanuef, Keith Aulie, and Freddy Sjostrom TO CAL: Matt Stajan, Jamal Mayers, Ian White, and Niklas Hagman
Baercheese
Yaaaaa let's bring up a trade that a GM who was fired 2 years ago made!

Baercheese
Is the new GM any better. I haven't seen anything to make me believe so. I mean at least that GM was trying to shake up the team.
Crom!
lol, because drafting players like Baertschi and Gaudreau is no different than picking Chucko or Pelech CDC logic
Baercheese
Oh ok he's drafted 2 players who look like studs. How about the moves he hasn't made? I'm not going to stoop to your level and leave "fLamer logic" at the end of my post. Oh wait I did.
Crom!
Alright, if you're comfortable with your Flames as they are then I'll leave you alone.

Crom!
Actually as die-hard Canuck fan I quite enjoy bringing up Calgary moves over the past few years And I think it's still too early to judge how Jay Feaster has done with Calgary. He had very little cap room and tons of NTC's when he took over the team. He hasn't made any major deals like moving Iggy or Kipper, but has made his mark on the team. His draft picks are still years away from getting a good sense on how Feaster has done. Surprised me this offseason by acquiring Wideman, Hudler, and Chervenka, as if they want to try and make a run for the playoffs? Seem destined to be mediocre for quite some time still, not bad enough for a top 5 pick in a draft but not good enough for an extended playoff run. Xbox
Why Feaster hasn't traded Kipper or Iginla yet for prospects/picks still blows my mind. If I was a Flames fan, I'd be pretty pissed. But as a Canucks fan, it amuses me greatly.

Xbox
I understand perfectly actually. If the Canucks were doing mediocre would you want the Sedins traded? They are your Iginla.
