1) Jones

2) Drouin

3) Mackinnon

That order looking much more likely now.

I guess what I'm saying is... I don't think MacKinnon would've gone for the high hit had the Russian not try to hit him high as well. It didn't seem as dirty as it initially looked. But it's over now :P

Nice shift by the 1st line. Way to go RNH!

Eh @ Hamilton for losing the puck at the point there but good on him for not taking a penalty. PP needs to get better, again.

Hey CDC are we gonna watch the sunrise together?:P

Solid period.

That Rielly rushes the puck well, if only he could learn to make a decent pass once he's in the offensive zone lol.

I'm concerned by the Russian ability to get in hard and fast on the Canadian defense. Some of those kids look a bit uncomfortable having a Russian forward barrelling right in on them and cutting down their reaction time.

For example, we saw that one play early in the last Canadian power play where there was a faceoff in the Russian zone and 5 seconds later there was a faceoff in the Canadian end.

regards,

G.

Ryan Murphy looks leaps and bounds better than he did when he started the tourney, but still looks like a defensive weak point. And is it just me or does he seem sort of selfish in the offensive zone? Every time he gets past the faceoff dot, there's no doubt that he's gonna be the one to shoot it.

Speaking of Murphy rushing the puck...

But yes appears selfish!

Question...

Canada, Russia and U.S.A all in one group is weird isn't it?

Or did Finland throw me off?

Amazing 3rd line shift. If Wotherspoon doesn't get the cape, Jenner is surely a great candidate for it too.

With respects to Sweden and Finland; you would think those three would be favorites!

I think it relates to last years standings???

Subban solid and steady. Forechecking is key right now for us. The D looks good so far too.
