Darth Kane
Luongo and Gaunce for Crawford, Frolik, Olesz, Montador and Beach. Luongo retires after a few seasons with us and 1-2 Cups, his cap hit for the remainder of this contract then gets applied to the Canucks (as offered in some CBA proposals). Red-Haired_Shanks
Off the map. Luongo and a mid round pick to Ottawa for Cowen and Neil. The Sens have a stable of young blueliners - Karlsson, Lee, Rundblad, Ceci and a solid core of vets - they could afford to move one and Neil - gotta get this guy... I know - Ottawa doesn't seem to be in the market for a goaltender - I don't care - this is a deal I'd like to see.

Darth Kane
That's equivalent to us offering Raymond, Rodin, Ballard and Sauve for Kane. At least make it somewhat realistic like Luongo for Morin, Dannault, or McNeill and a 1st if we're just talking prospects and picks.
Pears
My intention was never to make the trade realistic, I was just having some fun. It looks like you are doing the same based on your proposal. Morin is tradable (I know that's not a real word), but Danault and McNeill (my favourite prosect) are not. With any Luongo deal the Canucks will have to take some salary back. There's no way a team takes on a cap hit of $5+ million withuot giving any back. Darth Kane
Since Luongo's and Hossa's contract's are almost identical, why not flip them and add in a couple more pieces?

ConnorFutureGM
You sure managed to find some dead weight salary to send back!! $12 million worth haha. The Canucks don't have enough disappointing, overpaid spare parts to counter that deal with, but at least you threw Crawford in there, otherwise the rest adds up to a Luongo and Gaunce for $10 million worth of AHLers... Pears
I beg to differ. Ballard, Raymond, Booth and Malhotra all have close to none if not negative value.
zombieksa
Luongo + Tanev for Seabrook. Never going to happen, but w/e Hamhuis - Seabrook Garrison - Bieksa Edler - some homeless guy on the streets, dont even need a 6th D with those players. Ship Ballard out to Nashville for a 3rd

ConnorFutureGM
Come on. Booth is capable of 25+ goals and 50-60 points. I'm sure he would've scored 25 goals if he didn't get injured. He's a very solid top six winger. And before Manny's injury he was one of the best third line centers in the NHL.
Smashian Kassian
No thanks. I like Luongo and wouldn't mind him on the team but Hossa is a special player and I won't give him up. Next to Toews Hossa is our best 2-way forward. As much as I like Luongo I don't see a deal where he ends up in Chicago.
Ghostsof1915
Luongo for Luke and Brayden Schenn and Philly's next 3 first round draft picks. You didn't say the trade had to make sense for the other team.....
bossram
I would honestly be happy dumping Luongo just for the cap space and try to get a 2nd rounder + good prospect and maybe a decent roster play in return. Realistically (and realistically the only team remotely interested are the Leafs) I'd do: To Toronto: Luongo, Sauve To Vancouver: Bozak + 2nd OR Frattin + Franson + 2nd
