Phil_314
It's the Stanley Cup playoffs, where it's win or go home. It's where the creme de la creme come to show their stuff under the heat of the pressure, where teams can't feast off weak competition as there is none of that to be found. Role player and superstar alike have the chance to be immortalized, to bring their team to glory, to the promised land... to their rightful place in "History Will Be Made" videos (Not too bad right? ) Kidding aside, when things are serious and you need your go-to guy, who will he be? Will he be regular season grinders turned heroes like Dustin Penner, Max Talbot, Joel Ward or Sean Bergenheim, who suddenly find another gear and step up to deliver the win? Power forwards like Johan Franzen, Scott Hartnell or Milan Lucic? Would it be someone with a resume of being able to deliver regularly in the playoffs by stepping their game up to another level, like Jonathan Toews, Mike Richards, Jordan Eberle or someone like Adam Henrique, he of the three playoff round-winning goals? Daniel Briere also has a scoring pace of over one p.p.g. in the playoffs! Or would you, like Dale Tallon, invest your faith in someone like Jonathan Huberdeau who, while still without experience on NHL ice, trust that he already has the makings of someone who can step up when it matters? Would it be electrifying scorers like Evgeni Malkin, Sid Crosby, Steven Stamkos or the new guy in the picture, Claude Giroux, he of the 17 points in the first two rounds? Also, who would be your man in net when it matters? One of the two rock-solid goalies who won the past two Cups in Tim Thomas or Jonathan Quick? Pekka Rinne, Carey Price or Henrik Lundqvist? Or someone who's faded a bit recently in terms of playoff performances like M.A. Fleury or Cam Ward? So here's what I want you guys to do: Pick one guy for each of the categories of Riser (to the Occasion) --> not a regular-season Top 6 guy but who steps up in the playoffs Finisher --> A Top 6 forward who would be counted on already in the regular season "Great Save_____"! --> your goalie for the Game 7 start Who would be your foot-soldier player who you would become clutch so you can count on them to step things up when it matters? Who is your finisher who takes your last shot? Who will be the man with the ice veins in net for your team? For me, I would go with Riser: Talbot (gritty despite his size, leader, has scored his fair share of playoff goals) Star: Henrique/ Stamkos (an elite sniper who has added grittier plays to his sharpshooting repertoire) Great Save!: Brodeur (rock solid even at his age last season, can still get it done!) What about you?

Lychees
Burrows (because let's be honest, outside of the Canucks he'd be a fringe 2nd but mostly 3rd liner) Crosby Rinne

Mr. White
Do they have to be current players? If not: Dave Bolland (I hate him with a passion but he always steps it up in the playoffs) Joe Sakic (Most playoff OT goals, enough said) Patrick Roy (Always amazing in the playoffs)

-AJ-
Riser (to the Occasion) --> Sean Bergenheim (does he count?) Finisher --> Danny Briere. Seriously, check out his playoff stats, he's clutch. "Great Save_____"! --> Patrick Roy, Hands down. Oh, wait. OK then, Mike Smith. If Phoenix could've scored some goals, they could've won with this guy.

Smashian Kassian
For everyone picking Burrows, I don't think he counts as a bottom 6 guy. Helm or Bergeinheim (Tough choice, both are good playoff players & have scored big goals) Toews (Absolutely Clutch in the biggest moments, offensively & defensively) Schneider (from what we've seen so far he is lights out under pressure)
