People shouldn't be so shocked by acts of kindness. They should be a regular part of our society. Sadly they're not though, which is why people are so amazed by this.

If our governments took better care of the homeless, we wouldn't need officer's spending their own money to help them.

Seems he's stashed his boots for safekeeping. They"re too nice to wear around the hood.

The barefoot homeless man who was given a pair of shoes by a kind-hearted beat cop is wandering the streets shoeless again.

Jeffrey Hillman, 54, was spotted panhandling on the upper West Side Sunday without the $100 boots NYPD Officer Lawrence DePrimo bought for him on a frigid November night in Times Square.
