Red Light Racicot
Doesnt matter to me in the slightest. In retrospect, the regular season hardly counts for anything.
Bertuzzi Babe
That's just because Otto kicked it in and they know (subconsciously?) that they never should have won the Cup that year. They're still pretty sensitive about the whole thing.
NightHawkSniper
That's why it would either be the most amazing hockey you've ever seen, or the most hilariously bad.
Wheels22
I'm fine with half a season. As long as everyone is completely healed/still in good shape
Primus099
even if we won it in an 82 game season retards from other teams would still make up excuses as to why it's not a real cup win lol, so who cares. butthurt fans from other teams can suck it
MattJVD
I would absolutely love to have hockey back no matter what. If we can win a cup in a shortened season I'll take what I can get. This is almost as bad as people saying we should lose one in Boston on purpose so we can win it in 5 at home....... And like it was mentioned earlier, does anyone give the devils crap about their 95' win? No. Mind you they did back it up with 2 more in the next few years. nuck nit
Don't care. I'm done with hockey the NHL. I'm only on these message boards right now because of a few posters anyway.
Hugemanskost
I would rather have a 40 game season than no season at all. Also, the idea of a Cup win being tainted after a 40 game season is ridiculous. I guess the teams that won the Cup from '17-'18 until the early '40's all have tainted cups because they played less than / around 40 games? A Cup is a Cup. Every team always has an equal chance to win it... except the Leafs!
Great Save Luongo!!!
We could win a cup in a 1 game season and I'd still be happy. A cup is a cup.
surtur
i say everyteam plays each team once after those games are played they seed everyone in the west from 1 to 8 in points and everyone in the east the same that way only the top teams make it into the playoffs get rid of the divisions and just have east and west for this year. PlayStation
I'd rather have the season called off to be honest, I've just had it with getting my hopes up and fantasizing. If the season were to cone back, it just wouldnt feel the same, it would take a while for my passion to get back up there, I dont want to support the people who play and run the game, well the people who currently are in a stand still over money, as if they are not rich enough. Cant wait till the WJC, that I will not have a hard time feeling passionate and excited about.
-AJ-
We could win a shortened season and then repeat the next year.
Kesler's Nose
Any Stanley Cup is better than no Stanley Cup. Who cares if it's a shortened season, the playoffs are all that matters anyways.
Tangerines
I would rather just win a cup no matter what...... And then try to win it again the year after
Grape
I'd even have a 1 game season if it was possible.
kacvan
Honestly I no longer care if there is going to be a No Hockey League (NHL) season. I am looking forward to the World Jr tournament though.
Jai604
People who think that winning a cup in a shorter season means the cup is not legit are morons. Every team plays a shortened season and thus has the same advantages/disadvantages/whatever. Stupid is stupid.
Gino Odjick
Cup. In any way, shape or form. I'll take it. Haters will always say what they will.
