(he's the team's player rep so he'd be willing to go for this, and tell me how this shouldn't be qualified as "great" ) Luongo, along with an ice skating walker (to use in the crease so he doesn't go down to early) and a tire pump, to Boston for Tuukka Rask (when he's on the bench he could pump up Tim Thomas when he's struggling). Why Boston does this: they know Tim would be in top form with this personal motivator on the bench, and even if (when) Tim does walk away they know that Lu would be in town and available to play for them for a long, long, LONG time. Edler - Hamhuis Bieksa - Garrison Ballard - Tanev/Ellerby/Murray Wouldn't mind it, to be honest, but I'd prefer having a better starting goalie. That 3rd line of defence. I know it sounds cliche, but I'd rather try to package something for a better starting goalie even after making all of these offers since we have to due to the rules, so I'd take one of those young defenceman, steve mason or theodore, + a first for a more proven goalie.
