Hi. Does anyone know if the sedins are still in vancouver or if they're in sweden. The reason i'm asking is that there is a big charity event goin on in sweden and i'm trying to get them to donate something to the auction.

I'm fairly certain they are in Vancouver.

They have been interviewed on the local news several times during the lockout.

Definetly this.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

I don't ride with the band, I roll with the team.

I've been a Canuck fan since 2004-05 when the team was going through a huge transition phase, missed the playoffs

I don't think wearing one after the brain injury will help.

I think Bulis has a better chance of scoring over 20 goals in a single season than Kesler. ;)

Most of the players are still in Vancouver. I really love these guys. Both of them said they will go to the SEL if there is no agreement.

They are still here. It's a nice gesture.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

What exactly makes it a nice gesture? It's a personal decision that they made for themselves and their families.

I know the Sedins are nice guys but I don't think they're doing this "for the fans" or "for the city". Not that there's anything wrong with that.

honestly, i think the entire canucks organization from the owners to the players all sat down and the owners, management and coaching staff told the players something like "sit tight, be quiet and dont go to europe...we wont stop you but if/when the season starts we want you to be healthy" and "we dont support what the nhl is doing to u guys and we like it the way it is...so sit tight and spend time with the community"....something along those lines

i may be wrong but with how quiet the entire canucks organization has been through this ugly situation and the lack of players that have dashed to europe...especially the core players i think something was said internally

Actually the SEL will NOT allow NHL players under contract to play in their league.......that should be common knowledge

"What players need is the right kind of strength and power. That includes learning to understand that leverage and positioning can be just as important as raw strength when it comes to winning battles in the game. It's more about timing and athleticism --and avoiding injury--than it is about how much you can bench press. I don't know how many times I've seen a guy with the physique of a defensive end line up a guy half his size, only to bounce off when he connects. Sure, there is room in the game for big guys who can throw their weight around. But for the most part, players are smart enough to see them coming--and strong enough to protect the puck when they arrive. There are trainers out there who know how to devlop hockey-specific strength--though a trainer can help only if a player follows the program. All too often, I've seen players sign up with the best trainer, but not show up for their workouts and never to reap the benefits."
