Surprised I got cut from the Dub voting. Best plus minus in the regular season, playoffs and Mem cup, as well as going PPG in the Mem cup, and 19 goals in the regular season.

Oh well, at least it'll go to another T-bird (suck it Reinhart)

It's based on the regular season ya know, Jackson Hunter had the same +/- as you, and he played better defensively

CHL and Memorial Cup Awards coming up next!

Jackson addressed the media after accepting the award.

"To be honest to hear that I was nominated was exciting, but to be put in the same category as these players is an absolute honor. To accept this award is an incredible moment in my career, and to be nominated as the defense-man of the year in the CHL is also memorable and a great honor. I would like to thank my team mates and the staff of the Seattle Thunderbirds without you guys i wouldn't be even close to being here today. To share the memorable experience of an incredible season, the WHL championship and the memorial cup is one that I will never forget.

Good luck in the future guys."
