He went straight to the dressing room.

Damn.. Was there a call on it or anything?

It's really too bad that Alex Friesen has been so underwhelming. I know you can't really assume a prospect's future when they're still in junior but up until last year he was looking like he could develop into a solid, defensive bottom 6 centre in the future. Still could, of course, but he looks a little lost at the AHL level so far.

Cue De Niro coming in and telling me I should watch more highlights before making judgments. Lol.

Make judgements about players all you like. You just look uniformed when you say things without backing them up without any evidence though.

Yeah, nothing will get under Tanev's skin unless there's already a scrum going, but Kassian, Archibald or someone needs to stand up for him if this keeps on happening.

Kass did in the IceHogs game. It was pretty funny, some tough guy was trolling and pushing Tanev - Kass traveled some distance to get infront of it. It ended pretty quickly after that :)

Mad respect for Kassian with 12 seconds left. He could have gone for the empty netter but opted to do a slow flip down the end boards.

His defensive game is improving, being used on the PK and in the final minute now.

And that's the game. Good to see the Wolves pull off a win. Hoping Sweatt isn't to badly wrecked.. from the sounds of it, it didn't sound good.

Awesome! I said last game they should use him on the PK cause he looked, surprisingly, really good. After the benching, you could def tell he's bee working on his defensive game and staying calm.

Good to hear Kass is being used on the PK. That will get him off the pine in Vancity. However, him being on the pine in the first place will have people here up in arms, as usual.

Why is Cannata not getting any starts? I mean.. I understand Climie is playing well and the team finally rebounded.. I mean is it that hard to give Cannata one game? He is just wasting time on the bench here... I rather they send him back down

Great game for Kassian. He has great hands and sick vision. Smart play at the end of the game to just dump the puck off the boards. Looks like his defensive game is improving also. Hope he keeps it going!

How many starts in a row has it been for Climie? He must be getting tired.

Good that's what we want, him to work on his weakness's.

And of course to polish off his offensive game and other strengths, and judging by what JohnLennon said:

He's still got a myriad of flaws to address and developments to be made. For the second goal he got an assist but really should have been hanging around the net for a rebound. Instead he admired his pass and got shoved over and was out of the play. On the first goal he was again, not reading where Ebbett was going and thus wasn't set up for a potential rebound. There's plenty of polishing to be done but I agree, he's making good progress. His conditioning this summer was proof enough of how badly he wants to improve.

He has things to work on no doubt, but that want to improve and be better is the drive we want, players like that are the ones we want, glad to see he has it.
