NRA calls for an armed police officer at every US school

Yeah this is such a good solution.... and with US schools cutting everything like Gym, Music and other extracurricular activities where does this money come from? Maybe they should worry more about health care and affordable benefits. People who are sick in the head or depressed need the means to pay for anti psychotics, anti depressants, and counseling not an armed guard to take them out.

It's all fear. Everyone is so scared of everyone else. Scared you might get shot, or robbed or raped at any corner. Scared the government is plotting to steal your freedoms. Scared of everything. It's sick, the states is a diseased nation. These are all just symptoms.

Since there's no such thing as a soul, I assume you mean they don't overreact like these arbitrary "people with a soul" do? Or they just don't see things in a touchy feely sensitive politically correct way like you do therefore they are soulless bastards?

The second post on this page says otherwise, where, contrary to second post's assertion, the post right above that was, in fact, addressing armed guards.

Pretty much. That is exactly what the FBI director or the former director on CNN was talking about.

One guard on university campus probably won't prevent anything, especially if something goes down 5 minutes away across campus given the size of some schools nowadays. Such a plan proposed by the NRA would require several hundred thousand guards minimum to protect all schools. It's a vain attempt to address the issue.

But what about work places? People have shot up offices before. Do they propose putting semi automatic wielding guards in all work places as well?
