Realistically, Canucks chances of winning the cup is slim to none

7 posts in this topic

The shortened season is the only hope for us Canuck fans to feel the happiness that comes with the Stanley Cup. But if the season is wiped out completely, there is 0 chance that the Canucks will win in the next 5 years.

The Sedins will be older, the younger teams would be better, our top 6 is horrible. There's still the Luongo problem.

Prepare for the decline folks...

Well it's nice to see the pessimists haven't decided to take a lockout break...unreal really...soo you have a crystal ball or something that tells you how the Sedins are going to perform?

There's a problem with Luongo?

Well, there are 30 teams in the league, so if you don't factor in how good each team is, then every team has a 3.33% chance of winning the Cup every year. Pretty slim, I would say.

However, there is realistically no chance of the Leafs winning the Cup anytime soon so that should help improve our odds a bid.
