key2thecup
Japanese man Jiroemon Kimura to become oldest living man ever on record A Japanese man aged 115, was expected to become the oldest living man ever on record on Thursday. Jiroemon Kimura, who was born on April 19, 1897 when Queen Victoria was still on the throne, is "particularly fond of red bean cake and rice". Mr Kimura, and worked as a postal employee, has 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. He currently lives with his son's family in Kyotango, near Kyoto. The previous holder of the title of the world's oldest man ever was Christian Mortensen, a Danish-American, who lived to 115 years 252 days and died in 1998. Yasushi Nakayama, the mayor of Kyotango, confirmed Mr Kimura's status as the world's current oldest person last week, calling him "the pride of our town". Last October, Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday travelled to Mr Kimura's hometown to hand deliver a copy of the Guinness World Records 2013. Mr Glenday said it was an honour to meet Mr Kimura whom he called "an exceptional person" and is only the third man in the history of the world to reach the age of 115. http://www.telegraph...-on-record.html

Mr. Ambien
He probably outlived all of his children and most/all of his grandchildren too. That's a lot of funerals. Good genes, though, wouldn't be surprised if at least a few of his kin went over 100.
Jägermeister
He doesn't look a day older than 100.

:D
It's amazing, though. At 115, just imagine some of the things he has been alive for... The moon landing, the Berlin Wall coming down, the first pictures from the surface of Mars

Mr.DirtyDangles
Completely false oldest living person on record is Jeanne Calment 122 years old, 8 others have beaten this guy too lol. In this day and age how can reporters screw up soooo badly ? Not sure which one of the oldest people was asked this question before they died but this Japanese woman was asked when she was 113 who was the oldest person she could remeber and she claimed that that person was around 130 years old ? Dam that is some magical soup. Apparently the oldest living people on average come from the island of Okinawa. All the coral calcium in everything keeps the bones strong i guess ?
