@TSNBobMacKenzie With the recent deals involving top contending teams the Washington Capitals have jumped on board by landing a veteran forward to bolster their depth for a long playoff drive. Seems like they were quite upset about their 3rd round Playoff exit last year and they definitely haven't taken this season lightly.

The Washington Capitals have asked Semin to leave the team. He has been a distraction in our dressing room. We felt that he grew up since we booted him off the team back in 2012. We were mistaken we have again reached an agreement with Carolina where he can hopefully rekindle his passion for hockey before retirement.
