The Washington Capitals would like to thank Gernat for a great career with the Caps, his depth was invaluable to our team, but after his first full time season as a regular in our line up he decided to move on with his life. You will be missed.

The New Jersey Devils organization would like to thank Sergei Bobrovsky for his long career with the team. Bobrovsky has been cemented as the #1 goalie for the Devils for a decade, and with that he brought many successes to the team.

Good news for the Devils, many overalls went up! Bad news, many contracts must be renewed.

Notable is Ben Gavey from a 79 to an 85.

Giancarlo Curcuruto from a 78 to an 82.

Most of my players are going to ask for a raise for sure. Not sure if I'll be able to afford them all.

We're aiming for our 3rd Stanley Cup this coming season and are planning to make big signings this off-season.
