yeah, the servers have outdone themselves today. I could barely watch vs Dallas too and I got booted twice out of St. Louis like 3 minutes in and ended up quick simming both games.

Yea I got the good stuff with shaw too. Sometimes it gets laggy though so I just unplug the modem and plug it back and it works fine.

As a general rule, I sign a depth D and C on the last day of Free Agency before the freeze. Get a few guys on 1 year/1m deals. It's not as good as having Larsson, but what can I do?

For some reason I thought you couldn't sign fa's past dec 1st. Damn. I've got a bit of forward depth though. Three 77's in the minors.

You can't sign tendered RFAs after Dec 1st. The UFA freeze out is the same day as the Trade Deadline

Yeah, I had a run like that where it said Rutkowski was going to be back next game for 6 games. Which is neat, in the sense that they play it by ear and it's not always precise (sometimes they come back a day early too) but on the other OMG GIVE ME MY GODDAMN PLAYERS

Seriously, I sold the farm for Larsson and I'd be better off with any functional Defenseman now. Also, Galiev (16G in 48 GP) and Persson (15G in 45GP) are both done for the season. Between them, I could count on 2 goals every 3 games. blah.

If all goes well and no other d-man gets injured "knock on wood" I should have my top 6 guys by game 3 of the playoffs. In a way I'm kind of glad Petrovic got injured when he did. At least I know for sure he will be there for round 1 of the playoffs. It would have really sucked if he got injured for 30 games with only 5 games left in the season.

So we're double simming at 8, is that correct? Van and CGY, if you get on quick, I'll let you have a shot at my team with Toews, Johnson and Quick watching from the press box as healthy scratches, but I can't afford to leave them out of the lineup for a double sim.

No, I noticed that as well. But I'm sitting at 4. They're not in the AHL, I just called up 3 AHLers to play bottom minutes, cause if Johnson (especially) or Quick go down with an injury, I might as well just walk away for a week.
