The rule that was proposed is that there will be a draw held for every ELC for players that are 3.5 stars or greater. This year all the players that qualified for draws are being sent back to Winnipeg.

Technically we should be sending the 3.5 star goalie back to Winnipeg too but he's 63 overall and 23 years old, looks like a total bust so we won't bother.

Powe, Aronson and Maloney must be traded back to the Jets.

The LA Kings are willing to take on any cap dumps you may have

Because Winnipeg has no roster spots available and Toronto has no cap space. Maloney went to LA and will be traded to Winnipeg today. LA is able to take the roster spot that Toronto can't take. Don't worry about it, it's taken care of. The other two Winnipeg players have been traded back to Winnipeg already from Washington. Sometimes it's easier for the BoG to return players to the rightful teams so we don't have to kick teams just to get things done, this was easier to do than that.
