Rookie LW Sylvain Plante, drafted by NJD 28th overall in 2014 will finally get a full time stint with the big club this year. So far Plante has played in 11 NHL games as a bottom 6 player, recording 2 points.

This year, he will be tried out on the 1st and 2nd lines.
