canuckkendel114
I go to the games in Edmonton all the time and the cheerleaders are just annoying. Save them for football and some basketball. No place in hockey for them.

MikeyBoy44
Cheerleaders seem to "americanize" the game. Theres something about it that just doesn't fit with hockey. If the organization really wanted to bring the noise and atmosphere into the building then all they have to do is lower ticket prices. Make it a viable option for the steel-toe crowd and the families to go see a game.
Mcfly
Meh. There's no way Vancouver would add cheerleaders. For one thing, their whole 'family image' would change. They market the team to a multicultural all ages audience unlike some places in the US whose market may be more male based. More importantly the owners would never have it, since a whole section of season ticket seats would have to be sacrificed. Wanna add something cool to hockey, throw a gopro camera into a helmet and give me more on ice coverage. More slow motion! If you're going to take seats away, make the ice bigger. How about some consistent reffing.

EmployeeoftheMonth
I get that making a post limit before someone can create a thread wouldn't work but at a certain point can't some people earn a monthly thread making limit?

-AJ-
That's unfair. I think my opinion is sometimes, controversial but worthy of healthy discussions. Besides, I make positive threads as well. I actually am offended by your personal attack.
The Colt 45s
Ever listened to the crowd at a Canuck's playoff game, we don't need them. It is not a hockey thing.
kacvan
I'm sorry but something do not belong in hockey! It is a national embarrassment that the oilers have cheerleaders.
daebak!
What we need for a louder crowd is cheaper tickets.
Canucks_Hockey_101
With VanC demographics the way they are, there would be two cheerleading squads. Squad 1: Basically a new version of the Village People (YyyMCA!) Squad 2: Life size Hello Kitty! dolls
