Dogbyte
i was thinking that a few days ago briere for luongo straight up, philly absorbs cap hit/salary equalling the difference between briere's and luongos cap hits.
The-Impersonator
Gardiner? Absoluetly. Reilly? Absoluetly. Bjugstad? I don't know enough about him to say. There is a reason none of those players area avaliable to us, and why Weiss might be.
Tangerines
Hey guys just had a glimpse at the new schedule and Imo it might be a good idea to hang on to both goalies for this shortened season. We have games like almost every other day! Unless we get a solid backup goaltender in a Luongo deal we should keep both guys.. Schneider is gonna get burned out if he is expected 2 play most of those games in such a condensed period just saying..
Barry_Wilkins
Has anyone thought about the possibility of Briere+ for Luongo? I know he has injury problems, but could he work on Kesler's wing? I don't think his value is out of reach for Luongo to fetch, but tell me if I'm wrong.
Canucks_Hockey_101
Canucks 101, you see this? This is a proposal. I quite like this trade, and it's not too far fetched.
WeDreamOfStanley
Briere is money in the playoffs too. If he is healthy. Not to up to date on his latest health. Doesn't help our size issue though.

smurf47
I see it yes. And I will be pleased to see Luongo play his heart out for Vancouver and win a Cup this year. Schneider might have some serious competition in net.

WeDreamOfStanley
Considering it will be a more condensed schedule, it would be a pretty nice luxury to have two stellar tenders to keep each other fresh as well as pushing each other to stay on top of their game. Canucks_Hockey_101
I have a feeling this is going to end up being a three way deal. By the way MOU has just been signed, Luongo's gone by midnight?
RustyShackleford
If Lu goes to TOR I could see the deal being something like: TOR: Luongo, Schroeder, Rodin and Sauve VAN: Kadri, Kulimen, Bozak, Ashton, Holzer I know if a trade goes down with TOR we arent going to get exactly this but this is what id be happy with for both sides
