....now that hockey's back, do you regret it?

A lot of us are very frustrated, upon seeing the news this morning, and you previously mentioned you will never buy tickets or merchandise again, is there a change of heart?

I'm sorry but no matter how frustrated and upset I would be I'd never turn my back on the Canucks.
This is my team for life.

I don't think many people didn't renew their season tickets, I'm on the waitlist and didn't get bumped up more than normal.

Why cancel ST over a labour dispute? They don't play, the payments stop. Simple. I never once thought about cancelling.

Kassian.... Taylor Pyatt 3.0

Lies. He's more of a Steve Bernier. Hopefully his talent level goes up so he can become like a Taylor Pyatt.

People need to understand that the NHL is in fact a business, not a right. Any business that invloves a union will face labor disputes. Such is life. Welcome to the real world.

Game on....drop the puck!

Getting rid of season tickets is so stupid.....they can be resold for more than you paid. So getting rid of them is simply idiotic.
I can spend 2 hours uploading all my tickets to stubhub and make a few thousand profit.

Its like if Ford went on strike/lockout. Do ford owners abandon their vehicles on the side of the road running?

Lots of people threatened to cancel. Big talkers, but in the end they folded and pretended they never said it.

Won't buy tickets or go to a game for a while, but I'll still follow the team and watch on TV.

By the way learn how to spell SHIRIKOV who is this shirakov

Amazingly on his first shift Kassian would have had a breakaway if Kesler knew how to pass. And he still got switched with Weiss. And note it is "Weiss" not "Wise".

Rather pointless. The tickets will be sold anyway so that doesn't hurt the team at all. TV advertising cost is dertimined through ratings. What the team receives is based on what the network can charge for advertising. Thus watching on TV supports the team financially anyway. Unless you boycott the NHL entirely you are only fooling yourself that you're making a statement to them.

Get over yourself. Either be happy its back or quit posting on an NHL message board. Do your boycott all you want, but let people be happy the NHL is back. Some people won't turn their back because of a labour outage. Yes it was greedy, yes it went on for too long but other than having to find something else to do.... was I really that hurt by it??? No. Life goes on.

The owners and players fight over 3.3 billion like little children, dont settle early when it was mutually beneficial, have done massive damage to the sport, and lost billions.. both sides are being universally panned for their stupidity.

And you come here, and are pulling the old "i told you so, you shoulda done that" schtik on the few fans who took a stand??

what planet are you from?

Good for anyone who actually cancelled based on principal.

PS. hockey is part of me, as such i cannot ever completely block it out by nnot watching it. But its not too difficult to pass over NHL merchandise, its not too difficult to pass over spending hundreds to see games. Ive personally spent thousands on the NHL tix/merch . multiply that by how ever many other likeminded individuals there are.

You could easily watch hockey while completly avoiding the NHL all together. I live pretty rural and it wouldn't be difficult to do.

So making some statement post about principles and then having a ps saying you really like hockey strikes me as a bit funny.
