One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

Going to have some short benches tonight.

Paul LaTour@platour68

#Canucks call up Tanev, Ebbett, Kassian, and Schroeder before today's #ChicagoWolves game. Connauton will leave after today's game.

Seems like Connauton will play.

Also, no Mallet? He must hate the Wolves or visa versa.

He's still in the ECHL, not sure if they'll call him up.

They did sign Alexandre Grenier to a contract and callup Kenton Miller from the CHL (Central Hockey League) though.

Wolves Sign Alexandre Grenier

Damn, I got the impression that ,although Tanev, Connauton, Kassian, Schroeder and Ebbett were called up to Canucks camp, they were still going to play tonight.

Oh well, there are still a couple prospects, like Rodin, Friesen, Archibald and Andersson, to watch.

Unfortunately, there are no streams listed on adthe or first row sports. I'm just listening to the radio feed on the AHL site.

Great shift for Archibald and Friesen! Good puck possession and had a couple close scoring chances.

Davies with the tip-in off Derek Joslin's wrist-shot right after a solid penalty kill! Assists will go to Joslin and Matheson.

Wolves going to the PP after the Barons pick up a cross-checking minor.

Also, the Wolves announcers seem to think the go ahead goal was Joslin's goal but for the time being it's Davies' goal.

The Wolves seond goal was changed from Davies to Joslin.

Friesen picks up an assist.

He's one player that could benefit from the exodus of players from the team.

Sweatt too. Hopefully Archie too but I would bet that Scott "It takes me 3 months to realize that Archibald-Schroeder-Kassian would be a good line" Arneil won't know what to do with him.

Sterling is having quite the game. Getting chances to score seemingly every shift.

PP coming up for the Wolves.

Chalk up another PP goal for the Wolves! Brad Hunt gets the goal - albeit a bit of a lucky knuckler - and the assists will go to Haydar and Sterling. Sterling's assist is his 400th career AHL point.

3-1 Wolves

Rodin's ability to control and protect the puck are pretty unreal.

That's not the first time I've seen him stickhandle around mutiple guys in order to make a play.

Yep, his skill is undeniable, but as is the common theme with several Canucks prospects on the Wolves, he's just not getting the points.

Canucks fans want Schroeder to finally graduate, but if anything I'm anticipating Rodin's graduation even more. The Canucks desperately need another skilled, scoring winger.
