VanCan2013
Is their a new schedule for the Canucks or is it the same one. Will the Canucks play Capitals if season starts Jan 15 or will the Canucks play Ducks if season starts Jan 19 OR Is their a completely new revised schedule that will be released soon? 7thMan
There will be a new schedule. It wouldn't make any sense to keep the old one.
zombieksa
From what has been heard: 48 games = 7g vs division and 2g vs conference 50 games = 5g vs division and 3g vs conference I have also heard speculations that: 52 games could = 8g vs division and 2g vs conference OR the inclusion of out of conference games. (eastern canadian teams playing western, etc.) So to answer your question no the schedule will NOT remain the same, but to this point the schedule system is all speculation
RyanKeslord17
I hope it's the 50 game format. I don't think I can handle 7 divisional games against each team.
Scooter G.
Whatever happened to the re-allignment with four conferences - moving Winnipeg out of the Southeast? Remember that was shot down by the union and at that point said it would be part of CBA negotiations? I haven't heard a word about it. Can't keep Winnipeg in the Southeast, so surely this will affect how the schedule lays out.
Robert Nordmark
The NHLPA veto'd the proposed divisional realignment idea, so the 2012-13 season was going to be with the same six divisions, regardless of whether there was a lockout. They might revisit the issue before next season. So, no games on the shortened schedule vs. the opposite conference? That blows.

c00kies
Likely a new one. Which is sad, because now I won't be able to go to my first Canucks game
