The Flames win in OT in Columbus and after the game Tanguay comments that the whole team is playing better.

How is he evaluating the team, by using the bargain basement litmus test?

Look, the Flames beat Columbus in OT and all I can hear is the Macho Man Randy Savage saying,

“This is Calgary “Flickering” Flames cuppa coffee in the big time, Yeah.

Cuppa coffee in the big time!

Because they'll never get closer than now.

I am the intercontinental heavyweight champion

And I will remain the intercontinental heavyweight champion!”

There is no way the Canucks shouldn't stomp a mudhole in the flames behinds tomorrow, with or without injuries. Canucks always have injuries and still own the division, 5 years and running. calgary is a mess, dunno how fans put up with that garbage year after year,

‏@NHLFlames

#Flames FYI: Leland Irving will start in net tomorrow. His 1st #NHL win came in Vancouver on Dec. 23, 2011 when he stopped 29 of 30 shots.

Different goalie, same old story for the Flames

Irving, like Kiprusoff usually does, played well in this game and made some incredible saves. But what is a goalie to do when the defensive play of the team keeps hanging him out to dry?

Man, if not for a couple of absolute steals by Irving, and Hansen having hands of stone, this could have been more like 8-1.

I couldn't believe how many times Calgary turned it over at their own blueline. It's not like they have any major injuries on D...
