Baercheese
Easily one of the worst games this year. Couldn't generate anything against the Canucks. Irving played well but was hung our dry most of the night. Street needs more icetime
gmen81
Last nights game was one of those ones where I was starting to get worried that Calgary was going to get all the bounces like they did in the 1st. Good thing the bounces stopped going Calgary's way after the 1st.

ronsmith
Calgary Flames management has a destroyed a once proud franchise. The flames have only 2 first round drafts on their current squad = terrible drafting. The flames have demonstrated catatstrophic asset management by retaining contracts like Kipper and Iggy till end date. This gets them no return as they lose these players as UFA's. Calgary is the most poorly run hockey club in the NHL.

Baercheese
Flames' drafting was atrocious until the last few years. Everyone knows that so no sure why you bothered to write all that Anyways, Sutters are gone. Ken King won't go anywhere anytime soon so that's that. Feaster and Weisbrod have completely turned the drafting around. So there is absolutely zero point in basing Calgary's future on what it has done 10 years ago when the personnels are different. ronsmith
Flames keep chasing the dream of a 8th or 9th place season finish instead of retooling their team to make a legitimate contender. Very shortsighted and this shows the lack of sophistication of the average flames fan that they don't call out management on this.

Watermelons
Sometimes I can't help but feel sorry for the Flames. They don't have much luck in the shootout and their GM refuses to rebuild, even though it is the obvious thing to do...
Baercheese
How has Feaster turned the drafting around when he traded the pick that turned into Mikhail Grigorenko for Mark Jankowski? Mark Jankowski.
Mustapha
now you just sound dumb since Grigorenko was picked 2 picks before we could nice try
