Woohoo! NHL hockey is back!

Crosby won with 36.67% of the votes.

Luongo and Geoffrion both had 3 nominations. I used Excel's random function to determine the winner. Luongo won.

Brendan Shanahan was added to the list.

Seems like a modern-ish #41 poll, Crosby got in and Lu was nominated. Seems a bit early for Luongo, but he has had a pretty great career thus far.

I'm gonna vote for Jari Kurri again. It's about time he be on this list.

Kurri won 5 Stanley Cups, all with Edmonton and he was the first Finnish player to be inducted into the HHOF when he was inducted in 2001. He had two amazing goal scoring seasons, one with 71 goals and another with 68 goals, the latter being his only season in which he lead the league in goals. He had over 130 points in both seasons.

Kurri was also a good playmaker with five seasons of 60 or more assists. He even had six 100+ point seasons. He won the Lady Byng trophy in 1985 and has totalled 601 goals in his career. Add 797 assists and he has 1398 points in 1251 games.

Almost got in! Lost in the tie-breaker. For the sixth time, I'm nominating Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion. A highly underrated star of the 50's and 60's, Geoffrion on was more than just a "good player" in his era.

He was the 2nd player in history to score 50 goals in a season when he did it in 1960-61. His number was retired by the Canadiens (a very high standard) in 2006 just after he died.

Happy Crosby got in.

agree with the Kurri vote

nominating once again Mr. Goalie Glenn Hall.Edit- can't believe Luongo got on the list before HHOF legendary goalies like Hall, Dryden, Hainsworth, and Vezina.

This is probably the worst all-time list ever. How can Ron Francis be as high as #22 (probably not even top 50 foward of all-time) and be higher than Guy Lafleur (and others) a far superior player.

I'll be generous and give Bobby Clarke his 2nd vote.

I nominate Red Kelly.
