Stayed up cause things seemed very close, I was on CDC when the news broke and celebrated with everyone else, then later celebrated with TSN for the rest of the night.

My instant reaction:

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! :'D

I was happy to see it resolved but I expected it to be resolved. What surprised me was that there was a lockout in the first place. I thought the NHL would make sure that they kept their momentum going in the states with 24/7, the Winter Classic and the NBC Sports deal.

I was up on Twitter following the negotiations until the end, and then I erupted (no not like that), stayed up on Facebook and also texted everyone cause it was late. I didnt get any sleep that night was way too excited
I rather lose with the Canucks, than win with any other team

This is OUR year

And, I must say, my entire rhythm was off without hockey. I usually drive in to work listening to the team/hockey talk. It gets me ready and relaxed for the day. Then, at night - TSN highlights, etc. With this huge void, I've been off kilter. It's been meaningless and empty. So this probably saved my life.

I'm in Pennsylvania so everyone was confused when I was doing the Peewee Herman tequila dance at the safety meeting.

Timing couldn't be better with NFL just winding down. Got a lot more done in the fall than usual though and will thoroughly enjoy the shortened season.

No doubt an unpopular thought to share here but, honestly, I have to say that, if not for all those whose livelihoods rely on the business generated by games, I'd prefer to keep the season to 50 games every year.

Woke up and picked up my phone to turn off the alarm. Checked my email instead of twitter 1st.

Email from 3am or so from sportsnet.ca.
It read "Canucks breaking news"
I kind of got excited reading that.
Then under I just read the words "NHL tentative agreement".

Went on twitter and it was blowing up.

I usually check TSN every morning when I wake up to see if te lockout has ended. On that day, as usual, I went on tsn.ca expecting noting new and this was my initial reaction, "FINALLY!! YESSSS!!! WOOOO!". It made my brother jump and I was pumped with excitement of the thought that I will once again see the Canucks light up Roger Arena after a very long time.
