BobHo
I was watching TSN the night before, and they said everyone was hard at work. Wished for the best, went to bed, next thing you know, in the morning, checked google, NHL season 2013 begins at January 19,

hudson bay rules
I think everyone knew we weren't gonna loose a full season. It just took a while for them to get their heads outta their asses and they'll all need to shower a few times before the smell goes away.
Smashian Kassian
Stayed up cause things seemed very close, I was on CDC when the news broke and celebrated with everyone else, then later celebrated with TSN for the rest of the night. My instant reaction: YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! :'D
spliced
I was happy to see it resolved but I expected it to be resolved. What surprised me was that there was a lockout in the first place. I thought the NHL would make sure that they kept their momentum going in the states with 24/7, the Winter Classic and the NBC Sports deal.
Canucks_fo_life
I was up on Twitter following the negotiations until the end, and then I erupted (no not like that), stayed up on Facebook and also texted everyone cause it was late. I didnt get any sleep that night was way too excited
Red Dragons
My reaction was meh, then the canucks phoned and asked if i was really giving up my season tickets and the answer was still yes.

-DLC-
And, I must say, my entire rhythm was off without hockey. I usually drive in to work listening to the team/hockey talk. It gets me ready and relaxed for the day. Then, at night - TSN highlights, etc. With this huge void, I've been off kilter. It's been meaningless and empty. So this probably saved my life. spentral
was really happy, girlfriend wasnt. made me happy to be right for once because i assured people there would be no strike.... kinda wrong there. insisted there would be hockey by december... still look like an ass over that. but i guaranteed a season before the deadline. thank god i wasnt wrong because i really enjoy hockey at its highest level, and cheering for the canucks!!!
