sedinsassassins
Would you rather Ryan Kesler sit out the whole season and let Ryan recover the whole year and be back 100% next year or do you rush Kesler back this year when Kesler is not 100% and risk him getting injured this season and possibly effect his long term health. Now, I know that some of you will pick that Kesler comes back this year, but think about it. If Kesler plays this season, he won't be at 100% and I think that if you say rest Kesler for this year so he can be 100%, you can't go wrong unless I'm missing something. Hugemanskost
Kes needs to sit until he is 100%, as should all players. Winning is great, and all, but not at the risk of the health of your players and your franchise.
Zoolander
Wellllllll he's expected to be 100% before the end of this season sooooooo, I'll put him in this season, and pass on giving him an un-nescessary, un-called for vacation
-Vintage Canuck-
100%. Like his agent said, I want him to play the next 10 years, not the next 2 months
LordCanuck
I'd say we sit him till the playoffs or at least 5 games before the playoffs. Then see where he is at and if the doctors still say he needs more time then rest him till next year.

Smashian Kassian
He should be 100% before the playoffs, aslong as he is good to go for the playoffs that's all that matters, if he needs alot of time in the regular season off that is fine, but I don't know if we can shut him down the entire year, since we will need him if we want the cup. canuck_trevor16
late march and about 20 games so kesler wont be rusty and find some line combo as I suspect there will be constant line juggling until kesler is back
elvis15
What you're missing, is that once Kesler is healthy, he'll play. If that's this year, then he'll play. If it's next year then he'll play then.
CanucksSayEh
There is no substitute for games played. He's probably gonna suck for a while regardless if he returns completely healthy or not. Dropping him in the playoffs after missing a whole season is gonna look just like last year.
zombieksa
I am sure he will comeback by Mid March. The bigger question is what position will Van be in at that time. If we were slow to the gate and looking out of contention than yes, I would rather him sit out as long as possible.

Hexinvir
I don't care how long Kesler is gone for, as long as he comes back at 100%
SergioMomesso
He needs at least 20 games before the playoffs. The first ten games will rusty and the next ten he should get his timing and wind back.
Hunter.S-Kerouac
I say we sit him until the playoffs as planned and use the cap space from the IR to sign a rental player. since there is no cap come playoffs bring him back and wallaa Cup
