NuxFan09
Canucks farm team vs. the Flames farm team. 'Nuff said. Current score is 1-0 Heat. Paul Byron just scored on the PP for the Heat.
NuxFan09
Polasek, playing in his first game for the Wolves this year, just took a penalty. Heat back to the PP. Sounds like the Wolves are struggling mightily to clear the puck on the PK. Just can't seem to get the puck past the line.
NuxFan09
BTW, it was Ben Walter who scored the PP goal for the Heat, not Paul Byron. Wolves to the PP now.
NuxFan09
That didn't take long! Sterling gets the PP goal off a nice shot from the right side with Gordon screening. Haydar and Hunt will get assists. 1-
Zoolander
Why isn't Sterling at the Canucks training camp? Ebbett got an invite, and Sterling is leading the Wolves in points isn't he?

NuxFan09
Sterling gets his 2nd of the game, a tip in goal off a Brad Hunt shot. 2-1 Wolves
NuxFan09
Natural hat trick for Sterling! Kind of a lucky goal as it was banked in off the back of the Heat goalie's pads, but the hat trick goal nonetheless. BTW, Polasek is paired on defense with Brad Hunt tonight and picked up an assist on the 2nd Sterling goal. 3-1 Wolves

NuxFan09
Woah, Haydar and Sterling broke away for a nice 2 on 1 rush but couldn't score. The Sterling-Gordon-Haydar line has been damn good in this game. In fact, the veterans have been picking it up lately overall. Seems like Arniel has found some good chemistry with the Canucks prospects out of the lineup. OT: Quiet here tonight. Talking to myself on CDC FTW! NuxFan09
It's odd how well the Wolves are suddenly playing, but oh well. They've been buzzing this whole game, that's for sure. As I mentioned, the Sterling-Gordon-Haydar line has been especially good. Sterling should honestly have 5 goals tonight.
NuxFan09
Man, it sucks to just be listening to this on the radio. There was just a flurry of chances by the Heat and it sounds like Climie just made a sick cross crease save. Everything is going tonight for the Wolves! avelanch
it's no coincidence that the wolves started playing well when all the nhl eligible players left the AHL, they are built to win against AHL teams, it says nothing about our prospects specifically.
