NuxFan09
Figured I'd start a seperate thread for the 2nd of the back to back with Abbotsford this weekend, especially for people who like to leaf through these threads the next morning and maybe aren't aware that this is a back to back series. Given the effort the team put forth last night, I imagine the lines will stay the same. Also, no mention of a goalie change on Twitter by Jason Shaver (the Wolves' play by play guy) so I assume - regrettably - that Climie will be in net again, not Cannata. Lines from last night are as follows: Sterling - Gordon - Haydar Sweatt - K. Miller - Rodin Archibald - Friesen - Davies T. Miller - Kattelus - Desbiens Joslin - Andersson Matheson - Blain Hunt - Polasek Climie Cannata

NuxFan09
BTW, if the admin feels like this should be merged with yesterday's GDT, please do. I just like the format of a new GDT for every game.
NuxFan09
Wolves confirmations of forward lines. D pairings and the starting goalie: Chicago Wolves @Chicago_Wolves The Wolves will go with the same lines as last night: 29-10-20. 22-26-13. 23-36-15. 14-8-21. D-pairs are: 7-5. 25-38. 2-27. Chicago Wolves @Chicago_Wolves Matt Climie gets the call between the pipes once again. He will square off against the Heat's Danny Taylor.
NuxFan09
And the puck has dropped. Sterling-Gordon-Haydar and Joslin-Andersson on the ice to start the game.
-Vintage Canuck-
Good non-call by the Refs.
NuxFan09
Haydar with a nice, long cross ice pass to the left point. He's been a frustrating player all year but I can see why he's put up tons of points in his AHL career.
NuxFan09
A bit of a rough PP there for the Wolves. Rodin was out there at the end and was kind of disappointing. Didn't really try to do anything and stood still until he attempted a soft pass through traffic which was easily intercepted. Rodin has skill, I want to see more from him. Ghostsof1915
Oh God please tell me the Canucks are NOT going to do that stupid drop pass system again this year? Chicago is doing that drop pass thing on the power play, it's useless.

Ghostsof1915
I thought Nemisz would be a better player, but he's big and feisty.
NuxFan09
Yet another PP coming up for the Wolves. They'd do well to capitalize here. They're only going to get so many chances and by the looks of things, if that 1st line isn't going they're not going to get much offense from elsewhere. NuxFan09
Rodin with a nice little power-ish move to get the puck to the net. That's better.
cs2016
Climie making a bunch of good saves. Wonder if he could get the backup job for the Canucks if Lu is traded.
Ossi Vaananen
LOL at whoever this play by play guy is, calling Garret on his sh*t. Looks like Polasek may have beat Sauve out of a spot.
