In other news, the Atlanta Thrashers traded forward Ilya Kovalchuk today to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Niclas Bergfors, Patrice Cormier, Johnny Oduya and a 1st round pick. More to follow...

Before I read the thread, I thought he was simply substituting stacks of 100-bills for a smartphone.

I thought to myself that he should just purchase a new smartphone, which would cost only a few of the bills he is holding on the photo.

lol ya it is old but... IMO if there was no lock-out while this happened it wouldn't be news, Kane is a young kid making more money than a lot of people will make in a life time playing hockey for a living.

I'd be doing worse things than listening to 2 Chainz - Im different, and tweeting a pic saying Im trying to call Floyd with my stack of money.

My friend paged me today, when I called him back from a pay phone he said he heard a rumour from a guy named "HockeyInsiderr" on the World Wide Web that Wayne Gretzky was being offered to the Kings. Can anyone confirm?
