Ossi Vaananen
Boom! More room for Kassian, plus we open up some cap space while Booth is out. That's 9.5m between Booth and Kesler that we have free'd up to either sign someone or make a big play at the deadline. Silver linings people! Canucks17_33_22
Heard Kesler skated on his own today so that's good news. Actually I would like to see Kesler and Kassian together more than Kesler and Booth
DeNiro
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian it is then.

Dogbyte
Hmm, absolutely no second liners to start the year. Terrific. Looks like it's going to be Raymond Lapierre Higgins Oh God Does That Suck
The Kassassin Train
Wouldn't that be 2 out of 6? Anyways... I think this will be the year of the groin injury. Quick training camp + no exhibition games + short, intense season = many injuries
DeNiro
That is a weak 2nd line imo, Raymond is soft, Schroeder is unproven. Kassian is about the only player in that mix I think will be reliable.

vancanfan
Well we don't have much of a choice right now. From the looks of things in practice, Raymond will be on the second line. Maybe to balance things out a bit more they could do: Sedin Sedin Kassian Raymond Lapierre Burrows Higgins Schroeder Hansen
406281dylan
u know what, everything happens for a reason, i remember when the habs benched lappy after 15 games then latendresse got injured lappy drew in and had the best year of his career, i think this is a big oppurtunity for zach kassian, its his to blow. DeNiro
These kinds of injuries will happen to almost every team. It will all even out. This could be a big opportunity for another player to step up.
Rhinogator
hmm whats with the florida players not panning out :/. Other than higgins they seem to have declined.
Rollieo Del Fuego
Booth and Hamhuis didn't even make it to Day one of Camp. Here we thought everyone would be healthy and rested except Kesler...oh boy here we go again... We might be better off if they all took it down a notch for camp and the first week of the season even if we go 0-3. As soon as the injuries start tallying up for the other teams we can catch up. We can't afford to be down any top 6 forwards for long unless Kassian can find some chemistry with the Sedins freeing up Burrows to play on the patchwork second line. Raymond, Schroeder and Kassian on the second isn't going to cut it for long.
