I'm worried about that D in the playoffs though...Gardiner is still unproven and with our injury luck I don't think our D will go far...And I would definitely put Ballard with Tanev because they have good chemistry together.

Also, I don't like the looks of the second line-up. Burrows should be with the Sedins and Kesler on the second line when everyone is healthy.

Edler is going nowhere...there's a reason he was our only All Star Dman..

Guys, Ballard gets dumped if he have any issue signing the guy. He is a core part of this team as much as the Sedins/Schnieder/Kelser are.

He and Schnieder are the two biggest pieces of the transition when the Sedins and Kes are gone...you don't trade that away...

Im pretty sure the thread is called "If elder is not re-signing" id imagine he'd stay as well but if he were to leave this would be a great return for now and the future. Also, i agree. The backend does seem a little small for the playoffs. Id also definitely play gardiner ahead of ballard. Seems like the kid will be a star.
