DeNiro
Interesting. I wonder how much they paid him. Anything around 3 is a good deal. If it's upwards of 4, Florida gets spanked. I think they'll be looking to dump some salary now either way though.
Virt 'n Kass
I know they're different types of players, but I think the value of this contract will determine roughly how much Subban gets.

wallstreetamigo
Anything up to 4 mil per for 2 years is acceptable, imo. Over that and they might regret it. Still, they need him in their lineup.

vancanfan
Bob McKenize now saying the deal is not done lol Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie Things far enough along between Kulikov/Panthers for him to leave RUS but FLA wants full medical before any deal. Closing in but not "done."

timberz21
I thought he was the less likely to sign (i.e. Subban, O'reilly, Benn) Yes Dreger and Mckenzie are well connected, but soemthing it's pure speculation base on their opinion.

Ilya Mikheyev
That's what he's worth. Stop paying for potential and start paying for current production or you'll end up with a Tom Gilbert signing. Kulikov needs a bigger body of work before he starts cashing in and this deal positions him perfectly to do just that.
Millerdraft
Last year Kulikov paced for 40 points and was reliable defensively. 3rd on the team in TOI/G, behind only Cambpell and Garrison (obv. now departed). I think Tallon got himself a pretty good deal..
Ilya Mikheyev
On pace for 40pts /= actually putting up 40pts. If Garrison had gotten hurt and missed the last half of 2011/2012 he would've been on pace for 23g.
