They see a niche, know theres literally 1000s of people out there creating fake profiles anyways, making rookie mistakes and getting caught.... so they are saving these people the work for $40 & probably over years, have learned the things that work & dont work. Its a society where people seem to grade you on "status" now. How many twitter followers do you have, facebook friends, relationship status matter more than personality to a growing percentage of our society for some reason. I wouldnt even be shocked if theres more than just the 1 company doing this. Is it a crazy thing to do? Sure. But I see this as not much different than any of those Role playing games that exist that people spend $$ on. You are pretending to be something you arent on there too. Lets be honest...
