The first goal was a tip but he should have had the 2nd goal.

Puck lifted then suddenly dipped hardcore. You cray.

Kassian on pace for 7 minutes in this game..Nice to know somethings never change.

AV benching young players and Raymond has fallen down 3 or 4 times.

Looks like AV and Mase are already in mid season form,

Hmnnnnnn....not impressed so far....sloppy....Volpatti was by far the best Canuck that period.

Yeah he has looked good, I thought Ballard was the best though, had more ice time and looked solid.

People need to relax. This is a regular season game at the time of a preseason game. It's going to be sloppy and rusty hockey for a few games.

The Souray shot dipped.

The second line has looked fine; not a defensively liability either.

They stopped about 94-95% of the shots last season. There's a difference.

...Elliott stopped 94.0%. That was the highest out of any goalie in the league.

I've liked what I've seen for the most part. Those were not soft goals against Schneider. We just need some surprises to step up because were missing a whole freakin line.

"lulongo" is how don means to pronounce his name, he knows the difference, and has addressed this topic many times.."its a term of endearment"...just like bieska...and so on...the players know this and it doesnt seem to bother them at all as its been mentioned in several interviews with the players and they just laugh and agree that it means don likes you....this topic was also covered in the don cherry movie...so get over it...i like it, and i like don.

I'm seeing some impressive stuff from a lot of players who weren't nearly as good last year. Even if Booth and Kes aren't that great when they're back, we have a much better team than last year.

Lol King of ES said Kassian lost a battle but he got Slough footed.

Can we just ban him, he clearly isn't a fan of this team and is just here to aggravate fans.

Bring back the minus button, and minus him into oblivion.
But the guy has a terrible rep around here, and pretty much everyone knows him as a troll.

No, he's really not. What was his point? Kes takes faceoffs, but we're still winning faceoffs. Therefore by losing Kes we've lost...what exactly?

Kas does a lot for this team, could have blocked that Souray shot on the PK, but faceoffs aren't the issue. PJ just called him out. Not necessarily good form for a TV presenter but then I've always like that PJ doesn't really seem to care about that.

"What players need is the right kind of strength and power. That includes learning to understand that leverage and positioning can be just as important as raw strength when it comes to winning battles in the game. It's more about timing and athleticism --and avoiding injury--than it is about how much you can bench press. I don't know how many times I've seen a guy with the physique of a defensive end line up a guy half his size, only to bounce off when he connects. Sure, there is room in the game for big guys who can throw their weight around. But for the most part, players are smart enough to see them coming--and strong enough to protect the puck when they arrive. There are trainers out there who know how to devlop hockey-specific strength--though a trainer can help only if a player follows the program. All too often, I've seen players sign up with the best trainer, but not show up for their workouts and never to reap the benefits."

Off topic question. Is it worth getting up from being super comfortable and walking into a freezing room to record Jennifer Lawrence on SNL?
