Seth Jones is #1 according to the IIHF rankings the other day.

If that in any way mirrors real life, it could be exciting to have a chance at Kirby Rychel. He's someone I think would make an impact here in coming years.

I would take MacKinnon. He has that Kesler like ability to take his game to a completely different level when it matters the most. Also he seems to have a mean side to him. Something I haven't seen from Jones at all.

Man, the Canucks should really try to trade up for a top 15 pick. It would pay off

I think Pulock will draft higher than Bowey, Morrissey and Nurse? And Finland will see them having the 2knd D selected.

Very hard not to take Jones number 1...

So many guys I'd want the canucks to draft but i'll say Hartman/Zykov/Horvat, Nicushkin will fall because of the russian factor and if we have the chance definitely pick him up.

Anthony Duclair should be on that list. He is a slick playmaker with great 2-way capabilities

I want to draft a LW. We have nobody coming up for us on LW. On RW we have Kassian, Jensen, Rodin etc. On LW our best prospect is Archibald. We also drafted a C last draft so this time we should shore up D or LW. My top picks:

Anthony Mantha or Kerby Rychel.

6'3 and 6'1 respectively and both over 200 lbs. I think that sticks with Gillis's mentality.

We should trade up and try to get Mantha.

Otherwise I would look at maybe trading down to the early 2nd round (If we can add a 2nd or 3rd+) and pick up William Carrier.

Not really all that interested in Hartman, or Horvat. I do like that Hagg, Lazar, and Lehkonen might possibly be avaliable around our selection though.

Oh and theminister

Looks like your right on Lazar so far :P

Schneider + ballard to columbus for their 1st and J johnson/ryan johansen

or

Lu + malhotra/raymond to FLA for their 1st + Shore + weiss

or to wash for their 1st ++

Gillis needs to trade one of the goalies to a weak team before the deadline and get their first.

I'd like the Canucks to get Nichushkin because he's my favourite player in the draft but I don't think Gillis will take a Russian but if he falls he better pick him up. Perfect player for the Nucks going forward.

I'm very surprised to see Petan jump so high and Burakowsy to drop right down.

Edit: The names missing from this list that jump out at me are Zykov, Santini, Fucale, Klimchuk, Mueller and Compher.
