Might just be a move to get to 23 players without losing anyone to waivers. He's the only one that pcan be re-assigned. Looking more into it, it seems part of Schroeder's performance bonus is based on him making it out of camp. My guess is Schroeder is back on the roster by the weekend. This was just Gillis shuffling his roster in order to be compliant for opening night. Provost Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Schroeder will get some call up time, but he has done nothing in the AHL to indicate he has forced himself onto the team because of his play.
