I found my old N64 (ugh, I forgot how much I hated the controllers...) and my copys of the two Legend of Zelda games. So much nostalgia...

These games are actually slightly challenging and fun. (except the water temples, I hate the water temples!) Granted the graphics are dated but that don't matter to me!

This is my message:

Everyone! Stop what you are doing right now and replay the N64 Legend of Zelda games! Now! Go! Shoo!

I know, me too! What's with the Water Temple!?

To me Ocarina is a 9.5/10 Major's Mask is 9/10. It's a great game in my opinion. It's a lot darker than Ocarina.

I think there is actually a way where you can get completely stuck in the water temple. I had to restart my game a couple times. BY FAR THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME

Still hoping on a Zelda game with a darker theme and a perfect mix of combat and puzzle style that we haven't seen since Majora and Ocarina.

But with the games that've come out recently under the Zelda umbrella, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I really liked Skyward Sword, however. Hoping they continue in that direction, back to their N64 roots.

Ha ha! Back when it first came out me and my best friend went halfers on a copy and every weekend we'd have a sleep over and just spend 48 hours straight playing it. We always got stuck on the water temple and would spend a whole day figuring it out...

never had trouble in water temple........

Get out.

After Ocarina and Majora's Mask the only other Zelda game I've played is Twilight Princess.

I've had Skyward Sword for ages but haven't completed it. I need to get around to that now that you've reminded me...

It's nice, but I really hate how they feel the need to basically hold your hand through the game.

nah. i've been thinking about re-buying one lately. i bought a wii a few years ago, just so i could tackle the virtual console, but it's just not the same

i mean it is, it's literally the same, but there's a lot of great games missing on there

The SNES is an awesome console. Possibly my favourite console of all time.

I got a mini disc with my game cube that has the first 6 Zelda games on it. Still play it a lot on my Wii, but, it won't work on my WiiU. Zelda is the best series ever!

Most definitely! I used to have an NES and the original Zelda but that thing packed it in years ago so technically I still own the console and game so, if my knowledge of the law is correct, I can legally have an NES emulator and a Legend of Zelda ROM, which, depending on if my knowledge of the law is correct or not, I may or may not have on my computer...

That game is so hard and confusing at first...

I never played Zelda II.

A Link to the Past is tied for number one for me, I spent many hours of my childhood playing that game and yet I never did max out my hearts...

Never played Link's Awakining.

Ocarina of Time is my other number one, such a great and expansive game.

Majora's Mask, I find, has a much darker tone and is quite creepy at times, like the beginning when you're chasing the skull child through the dark freaky woods. I liked it quite a bit, my second favourite.

Didn't play any of the next ones until Twilight Princess, it was ok, I dunno, I only played it once and never had an urge to play it again.

Haven't played Skyward Sword, I don't really like the Wii or I might have gotten this.
