Kings best work deserves a good movie, not that crap tv movie from the 90's IT (done properly, although some parts are best left out) apparently casting is in the works The dark tower and the pet cemetery are being set up Carrie looks like it might be butchered. Green Building Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Yes the Dark Tower series has been purchased but the studio who was supposed to make it backed out due to production costs and it is currently collecting dust. Kryten Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Easily my favorite set of books growing up. The Dark Tower, done properly, would be twice as long as the Lord of the Rings. Man I just don't see any movie studio doing it justice. Way too much oppurtunity to ruin the story by not including all the best parts. There is a lot of material to cover but considering the story's structure, a lot could be cut out without hurting the overall storyline.
