RyanKeslord17
Yes, they cursed themselves. Even if they lose today thats just ONE game. We canucks fans shouldn't even be talking, we have yet to win a cup either way.
Dittohead
Winning back to back is always difficult most teams don't. I don't believe in curses.
dKs89
lol at you. Cup belongs to LA Kings until someone takes it from them. Until then they can parade it around in my front yard if they like. They deserve it and they own it. And another thing. There are no such things as tooth faeries, curses, magic spells etc etc
Dittohead
It's there's until the play offs start.
WHL rocks
Wrong...that implies a team has to beat them in the finals for them to not be the champions any more..Which in fact, is not true.
Danthecanucksfan
The curse is true lol, 4-0 for Chicago with 10 left in the 2nd period.
Kass9
LA just showed their victory was pure fluke and luck.
Remy
Hah. That's a pretty safe bet, considering they have a 1/30 chance of winning. In fact, that's a pretty safe bet for ANY team.
Smashian Kassian
Once the pucks drops in the first game (after the ceremony) the Kings are no longer champions. They were 2011-12 champs, this is 12-13, defending champs yes. Although in regards to the OP, They won it at home and every team brings the cup out and kisses it in the banner raising, Boston did it last year too, I thought it was cool they way they handed it around the rink for all the fans to see, I think you are overreacting to it. schlaBAM
Of course a team doesn't have to beat LA to win the CUP. How old are you 7?
Tortorella's Rant
The Kings and their fans can suck it.

spliced
I can't believe how many people think the Kings can repeat. Detroit with Yzerman, Federov and Lidstrom Penguins With Lemieux, Jagr and Francis Oilers with Gretzky, Kurri and Messier Those are the kind of teams that repeat. canucks.brad
boston did it last year (all be it they won away from TD Gardens). its like one more celebration. they didnt start the faceoff so the 2012-2013 season didnt start yet
oldnews
They can do what they want.... but... They should have had the Cup sitting at center ice - alone - separated from the team - under a spotlight - the players staring intently at it - silent, serious - think monolith, 2001 a Space Odyssey - then that dude with the weird white gloves comes and takes it away as they watch, respecting the resolve that it took to make it appear, the resolve it would take to make it re-appear... That would exude respect, and by extension, magnify their accomplishment. Dramatic. That may have re-engaged the short attention span of the LA demographic. Now it's over.
