Philly - Van

17 posts in this topic

Bryz is looking like Bryz, Philly has a very talented team and has desperately need a goalie since Hextall. Their D is not much better, noticeably slow. Ballard would easily play top 4.

To Philly

Lu, Ballard, Shroeder, 1st

To Van

Couturier, Simmonds

Philly gets a starting goalie, top 4 dman and a good centre prospect.

Van gets a young centre with very good potential and a young power forward.

Added a 1st.

Not Bad. We might have to add a low pick/mid prospect to sweeten the deal.

Phi wouldn't want to add Lu without subtracting Bryz. And I think the buyout window has closed till next summer.

Bryz only let in two goals.

Let me reflect this on you:

You are a professional hockey goaltender, and you have been overpaid and been playing in a mediocre manner.

You have a fresh start to a new season, and you lose, despite allowing only two goals in the first game of the season.

Should I trade you, or should I give you more opportunities to help you get back on your pace?

lets get this straight, so philly is going to get rid of a goalie they just signed last year long term so they can acquire an even older goalie with an even longer contract

and while they are at it, might as trade away 2 young promising roster players

plus Bryz played good today

No way Ballard beats out Timonen, Coburn, Mezsaros, and Schenn. He would be at least the 5th d.
