Stick-in-Rink
I say we stick to what the plan originally was and start Lu.
gragnanifan1
have to go with lu. let schnieder regroup and play him against the flames on tuesday or wednesday cant remember
EvoLu7ioN
I honestly believe AV's plan was to play Schneids Saturday and Lu Sunday, however now you have to go back to Schneider and give him that vote of confidence. No brainer to me, and TBH if I was AV I would come right out and announce it tonight to end this media frenzy/speculation. It will really get interesting if he has another bad outing though. NuckNuckNucks
I want Schneider to start. His padded and artificial stats will have to be put to rest early. Let the choking I have predicted long before continue. There's a reason why they are hanging on to Luongo. Being a true Canuck, it doesn't please me to be right. Brick Tamland
AV usually alternates on back to back games so i wouldnt be surprised to see lui get the green light
roland
Schneider. I think right now is a good time to give Schneider a taste of what being a starter is like. And with Luongo backing him up, it should make the transition smoother for Schneider. I think starting Luongo is a bad idea, especially if he were to play a solid game and give the Canucks a win. Kesler's Nose
I think we need to trade Lu asap, it's becoming a distraction... Imagine if it remains this way the entire season. Schneider had a bit of first game jitters, but it will pass. He'll try harder tomorrow versus Edmonton, calm down Vancouver. lol
Dragonfruits
trading luongo won't fix the poor defensive coverage the lack of a 2nd line (i really wish kesler wasn't injured)
Hunter.S-Kerouac
Schnider. If hes gonna be a starter ever he has to be able to face the music after getting the hook. I would assume he will have a better performance tomorrow if not then I would look to Luo and re group. I am a Luo supporter ftr I do hope he regains his starter role. But I also love D Schnide and hope he goes on to have a great career after we get a great player in return for him.
Common sense
Luongo. It's always been the other guy on the 2nd half of a back to back.
snolan
Schneider... if you don't you've toasted the guy.. because we really need to test him (and fast like) and decide if Lou really is trade-able or not..
fagin
Luongo. It's always been the other guy on the 2nd half of a back to back.
frazzY
you gotta go with schneider, he is our number one now, luongo got some action today. if we won i would say start lu, but we didnt, not even close. if they start lu, youre just adding fuel to the big bon fire that already is the goalie controversy here
kj29
Omg you guys are crazy..... after what happened tonight, i think its a no-brainer
Laoag
I dont buy this "cory is the number 1" BS. We have two goalies that give us a chance to win every night. Stick with the plan and go to Luongo tomorrow. if he plays lights out, play him again, if he is anything less than that give the start to cory for the next game go from there... I trust Av and the way he manages our goaltenders.
King Heffy
Gotta show the number one guy you have confidence in him. Stoked to see Schnieder in net again tomorrww; he'll play great!
Nuck_in_NorCal
They both played tonight...I imagine they'll both play tomorrow night. Does it really matter which one goes in first?
