diesel_3
6-1 Oilers. Oilers have too many flashy forwards to take advantage of the defensive mistakes the Canucks will make.

Kass9
Oilers will be scary, but hopefully the Canucks can rip them a new one.

CmdrAdama
Weise isn't that spectacular of a fighter. I would've rather Volpatti did
Raiun
Doesn't look like this game is being broadcast on any of the networks? At least, there's no network listed on the schedule. Coverage by Team 1040 of course, though. Also doesn't look like they have any service on the Canucks page to buy the sportsnet package for streaming anymore.. I don't even have cable, so I guess I won't get to watch too many. That sucks.

Everybody Hates Raymond
Love seeing these predictions about another blowout. I'm surprised some of you even know hockey exists outside of the post-season.
Luongo
I have a bad feeling about tonight. The Canucks are always slow starters, and that's with a full training camp. Shut down the twins, and the Canucks are doomed. 5-2 Oilers.
surtur
so how can a guy watch this game? also i would like to see the nucks start the next few games focusing on solid defence don't worry about having the defence jump up into the play keep them back and in control then slowly start getting them involved in the play. -Vintage Canuck-
Luongo on getting start against Oilers: "I didn't know what was going to happen and I would have been fine with it either way." Luongo on Oilers who had 12 players in minors and Europe during lockout: "There's no rust in their system. We've got make sure we're sharp." More Luongo on Oilers: "We can't just go through the motions, we've got to make their lives difficult tonight."
van_ws
Canucks will continue to struggle in the early part of the season. Oilers are too fast and in-game shape, they take this one. Not to be a pessimist but I expect a difficult season for them. The problems are evident, they need to get faster, younger and more skilled. BananaMash
Andrew Ebbett is going to further prove that he has no place in an NHL top six as he repeatedly loses the puck, and makes horrible passes. I think the Oilers will win, but I think the Canucks will play better tonight. Aside from that "second line".

cyacry
possible to win...but first line must convert,no more drop passes during PP. PK needs to do better...
cmpunk
The killer of the Canucks is going to be the Oilers pp. Their pp is all high powered offense and Canucks pk was crap last nite. Solution: Need to be very discipline. Luongo is going to have to be sharp.
