Nino
We need a center with some size and grit for the 2nd line. Someone like Ryan Kesler...... Schroeder should get a chance. I don't think he'd make much more of an impact than Ebbet, but he should get a try. Bottom line, until Kesler is back we're not going anywhere anyway. BananaMash
I personally feel like Andrew "The Second Line" Ebbett looks to be a promising 1st line center, in the ECHL.
Visp
What about moving Higgins to second line center? he has played C in the past and has a great hockey mind. That would make it Raymond-Higgins-Kassian .. just not sure who to replace in the 3W position ... Volpatti-Lapierre-Hansen/Vandermeer-Manny-Weise maybe as Volpatti was the most determined player wanting to secure his roster spot on the ice yesterday! 37yrsncounting
the reason ebbett sucks is because he's playing with ahl players like kassian

DeNiro
Goal scoring was not the problem last night. Keeping the puck out was. If this team is scoring three goals, it should be enough to win, or at least force overtime. The team defense wasn't there last night. It doesn't matter who was centering the second line. nitwitt
I know it's one game but man does he suck. He's not big enough to win battles along the boards He's just not good enough to be playing in the big leagues Raymond and Kassian looked fine last night, they need a center to get them the puck. shazzam
bottom line is that we are not deep enough down the middle. Even with Kesler back, we still don't have a solid third line center. Lappy is a great 4th line center but borderline 3rd line center. just take a look at the past 4-5 cup winning teams, they are stacked at the center position
