I was hoping that the Flames would win tonight, but the stupid Ducks won the game.
I do not believe the Flames would allow their team to go 0-3 to start the season, I think their players will just take out their frustartion on us the next game! sht.......

I hate playing teams on a losiong streak.....

One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

First off, you jumped the gun, CGY just scored, 5-4 with 5 to go.

And even if they lose I see it in the opposite light you do.

They will be in the exact same situation we are in, losing a game they didn't deserve to win, then improving and playing better, good enough to win and coming up short (assuming they do lost) both teams will have a chip on there shoulder and I think we are better with facing adversity, I would be more worried if they win, cause they will have there confidence, if they lose, perhaps they will be more doubtful.

Hopefully they lose, I think it will fair well for us come Wednesday, although I'm not too worried, we seem to knock alot more rust off each game, if we can work on execution and stay focused, I think Schneids will have a bounce back game and get the job done.

You don't think the Canucks are looking for retribution for losing 2?

not trolling but just wondering (i like Schneider)

Schneider is most likely getting the start Wednesday, what do you think will happen if he gets torched again?

You're an idiot. You think the Flames won't go 0-3 but you fully believe that the Canucks will go 0-2-1?

Talk about lobsided views.

Ah, but we're 0-1-1 not 0-2, so clearly the Flames will be more motivated to get a win than us.

Like how the Canucks went 3-2-1 against the Flames last season? Sorry I don't call that a domination against the Flames.

Who gives a 5h1t? All these useless distraction questions are the reason people never get to do what they want out of life, and it just clogs up the players minds with useless thoughts that have no bearing on what they need to do - improve themselves to play as stanley cup champions.

Just focus on improving, on executing at your best, on winning - that's it. When you are doing all you can to be the best, and you somehow still have extra time, then maybe you could go thinking about how the calgary flames just lost their first 2 games and that they're going to be extra tough on us. But who would ever seriously have that kind of time?

Well, the teams have more than enough motivation to go out there and win the frickin game. The Canucks better be prepared and bring their A game, because anything less will not be good enough.

To be blunt, both teams have been crap so far. At least something has to give.

Cool story bro.

Getting old fast...

But getting beyond the mountain man with the fast finger but nothing to say.....

The flames winning or loosing will have no impact, I thought they would loose to Edmonton but they have had some time to adjust and will (I hope) have a better second line. First win of the season on its way.

Betting Canucks surfer's car on it.... Hope that's ok?

I think the Canucks will benefit from the road trip. Less pressure, no media frenzy about Luongo/Schneider, I think our guys can relax a bit.

Is it not obvious? You pull him and use the other great goaltender you have sitting on the bench.

Or do you mean what will happen with the morons in this city creating newspaper headlines?

I agree. If we are also 0-2, then I think we can beat the Flames on Wed. We are 0-1-1, our players still do not think they are in trouble yet. On the other hand, the Flames are 0-2, and they know they are in real trouble if they don't win on Wed. Therefore, I do not like our chances.. :(

Hope the boys prove me wrong....

If it were any other team I might be worried but cmon, it's the Flames, the top contender for the 1st pick next draft.

The Canucks wont lose on Wednesday, they are hungry for their first win and starting the season by losing 3 straight at home is unacceptable. Besides.. its the flames, Kipper has nightmares thinking about the Sedins B)

Not in trouble yet!! Wait till we are 0-2 down on Wednesday, then we would be introuble!! But the boys won't let the Flames get to that situation. We all know how to smother flames and put out fires don't we.

Overtime losses at still losses. The other team still put more pucks in your net than you did theirs.

It's a pretty simple concept to grasp.

We've had a lot of time inbetween games for the coaching staff to fix all our mistakes. We'll win it for sure, unless one of our goalies blows us the game.

Both teams are in the same situation going down 2 losses to start the season.

So you're saying you don't think the Canucks will be just as motivated? That's nonsense.

Both teams will bring it.

I still think Canucks want to win just as much if not more. We have more to prove being the better team in the past years.
Flames are not a strong team. They have not done well.
