So my bad if this is a dumb question, but I'm confused. Jensen stated that he would stay in Sweden or wherever, but can he play for the Canucks in the playoffs or late season by any chance? Or is it that he has decided for this whole year that he won't be coming here?

He's in Sweden for the year. Whole year. He won't be coming this season.

If he finishes his season in Sweden it's likely he'll play a few games for the wolves like he did last year

Jensen will not be available for the canucks this year. I just hope he progresses well in Sweden...

Well, he's only got about 15 games left in the regular season, and his team is awful and likely won't go deep into the playoffs should they make them at all. That's only about two months left. Not sure how the trade deadline works with players on loan, but his season will be done before ours. If Nashville could have Radulov play for them last year, I'd imagine Jensen could play for us. Really, I have no idea. The guys in the Jensen thread in the prospects forum will know.

We drafted him, I don't see why we couldn't suit him up at any given time.

When Sweden finishes get him to the Wolves asap. Then he is close at hand if he is good enough to move up and the Canucks need/want him.

Go Canucks Go
Go CANUCKS Go.

That's not true. As soon as his season is done he can come and play over here.

The SEL season ends in the middle of March. Therefore he'd have a month to play for the Wolves, and then could be called up for playoffs.

Once his Swedish season is over he could come over and play in the AHL, or possibly even the Canucks.
What is the deal with Mike Gillis, it always seems like he's sweating...

this is awsome! no way AIK makes playoff. with a long look in the AHL Canucks will know exactly how developed Jensen is for next season. Way better than another year in CHL

Doesn't really matter, the Canucks are STACKED at the wing position. When we're all healthy our 4th line wingers will probably be something like Weise and Raymond, who are playing top-6 minutes right now. He honestly wouldn't crack the team when we're fully healthy.

Yeah, it's not like he signed a contract in Sweden or anything :D

Anyway, I'm glad he's getting some more time to develop instead of sitting on the bench over here.

I would like to see him come over and play for Chicago for whatever amount of time he can. I dont see why it would be a problem as others have said. He has no contract with AIK beyond this season. Hoping his time in Sweden has been a learning experience and he is ready to be a top 6 in the near future for the Canucks. Here are his stats so far if you care:

40GP
15G
6A
21Pts
-11 +/-
16PIMS
