Switch Shooters

Are there any players in the NHL or in the history of hockey that have been known to be able to shoot both lefty and righty?

Much like in baseball where many players are able to hit from the left side of the plate and the right side, (Switch hitters, ex. Mark Teixeira) is there anyone who can shoot with the stick out to their left and with a stick out to their right?

None come to my head, anyone know?

I am sure there are but why would that benefit the team or the player They would just shoot on there strong hand

Not shooters, but I believe Bill Durnan, a great goalie for Montreal in the 40s was ambidextrous; he could catch with his left or right glove pretty well.

I think I have heard of players from when they used straight curves that could take slapshots on their opposite hand, as well as putting in rebounds or close-in shots.

Yes but what if they were equally strong on both hands...then say they were coming down the left wing and can switch to shooting righty for the best snipe possible, and if they came down the right wing they switch to lefty and they'd still be on their shooting side
