Whose better now? I don't really feel confident with a goalie with a G.a.a. of over 10.

Big fan of both.

But we will see who has the last laugh when a trade is announced, Lu supporters or Cory supporters.

Personally I could care less either way, Lu is still the best we have ever had and I am and fan and I am still a big Cory fan too and like him moving forward.

I hope you're just trolling us...

Because basing his stats off two (terrible) periods makes you just as useless and annoying as most of the so called "Luongo haters".

Last year, Schneider had a 1.96 gaa vs Luongo's 2.41 and a 937 vs 919 save %.

If we're strictly basing the two goalies performances off pure stats, we may as well compare last years stats instead of the first 2 periods of play this year.

Big fan of both.

But we will see who is left crying when a trade is announced, Lu supporters or Cory supporters.

I don't think we should trade Schneider, but Luongo being traded will be hard on a lot of Cory supporters. Best goalie this organization ever had.

Those are some troubling stats. Can you imagine how bad the Edmonton game would've been with Schneider in net? Oil would've scored 11, if not more.

Last year, Schneider had a 1.96 gaa vs Luongo's 2.41 and a 937 vs 919 save %.

Luongo's even strength save percentage last season was .929. Schneider's was .931 with 22 fewer games.

Luongo is at a disadvantage on the PK due to him being less of a positional goaltender.

Also, if you don't care about special teams save percentages, I'd advise you to compare Luongo's and Schneider's save percentage by month (ESPN splits). Schneider had some months with unsustainable save percentage and 2 months with some pretty mediocre save percentage. Luongo was much more consistent post-October.

You need to seek professional help. Lu has made it celear he wants to move on and MG has been clear of his intent to move him.

Get over it and find a life.

If you are unable to move on yourself, perhaps you could add your comments ot the existing Lu discussion threads instead of starting a new one!!

I really wish we could keep both (I know it's unfair). But I feel like it's a complete family with both of them. I'm critical of Lu at times but it's in a "oh, Lu." kind of way. "Ya let in 5 goals... classic Lu, freakin' Lu, ha"

And Schneider is just such a cool dude. I want both

And your stats are more than likely going to go down given the more you play.

After game #1 I think Gillis better bring back a goalie in return as Cory only makes 1.3 less than the eilite level goalie that is departing, which,to me,is not really a laughing matter given how this team is playing.

It will be nice when Luongo gets wherever he is going and doesn't have this whole blown up media event hanging over his head and he can just go out and stop pucks... at which point he will go on to have a stellar season. It will be good for him for it to be settled.

He will bounce back tommorow, just one bad game, Lu has had plenty and look how good he is, no reason to overreact, it doesn't really change anything.

Hey smart guy... who actually hates him? I think most here really respect him and his game. The guy has been replaced by management moving forward and has said himself it's time to move on. It has nothing to do with idiotic fans like yourself.
